TL;DR — we ask for your email so we can let you know when the product goes on sale, nothing more. We won't sell it or share it, and if you ever want it gone, just reply to any email we've sent you and we'll take care of it.

What we collect

Your email address — and, only if you choose to answer the optional question after signing up, whatever you tell us there. We also use Google Analytics to see roughly how many people visit and where they came from (Instagram, TikTok, a direct link — not you personally), which is covered in full below.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand which platforms are actually sending people our way, so we know where to spend our time. It sets a cookie and sees your IP address and browser details, but never your email unless you've already given it to us separately. No advertising pixels, no cross-site retargeting — just Google Analytics, and nothing sold on to anyone else. If you'd rather opt out entirely, most browsers let you block third-party cookies, or you can use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Why we ask for it

So we can keep you posted as we build this — and let you know the moment we go live, instead of you finding out after the fact. If you answer the optional question, we read every response ourselves; it genuinely shapes what we build, and it's never published in a way that could identify you.

Who else sees it

Nobody you haven't already heard of. We collect your email straight from the form on this site, and it's only ever handled by Resend, who send these emails on our behalf, and Vercel, who host the site itself — both based in the United States. They're only ever allowed to use your details to help us reach you, never for anything of their own. Separately, Google receives the analytics data described below, also processed in the United States.

How long we hold onto it

For as long as you're happy to hear from us — or up to 12 months after launch if you've gone quiet and never opened anything we've sent. Ask us to delete it sooner, at any point, and we will.

What you're entitled to

Whenever you like, you're welcome to ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to fix anything that's wrong, or ask us to delete it altogether. Drop us a line at hello@orlixes.com and we'll sort it within 30 days.

If something doesn't sit right with you

Tell us first — email hello@orlixes.com and we'll get back to you within 30 days. If you're still not happy with how we've handled it and you're in Australia, you're entitled to raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If you're in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority is the equivalent contact.
